About

My official banner is made from a photo I took of Niantan Temple in Longtan, Taoyuan. My logo is made from a photo I took of Taipei 101 at night a few years ago.

This blog is one of the most comprehensive resources on life and travel in Taiwan written by an European, who has been living here for many years. As of 2015 there are over 600 posts, the majority of them related to travel, with a big focus on Taipei. To find all the content please explore the horizontal link bar that has a drop down menu full with pages that list related content (I suggest you to start with the Explore Taiwan page and the Explore Taipei page). For a detailed tutorial on how to find content and navigate my blog, check my Sitemap. You can also follow me on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even Flipboard (check my whole list here). This blog and all my social media sites are updated by me alone, it's just a hobby for me, I don't earn a single penny with it. I do hope people enjoy what I am sharing, that's all.

A special note: This blog is currently under construction. You will see some links are broken, and photos are watermarked with my old blog's URL (which you can find here). That's because I have moved content from that URL to this one. Please bear with the inconvenience, I will fix most of the links within March, however the watermarks will probably remain for a longer period.

This blog is optimized for iPad and iPhone.
