Neihu 內湖區, Taipei

2/06/2012 Taiwan Explorer
1. Introduction

• Known for: technology park
• Population: 280000 (2012, source)
• Wade-Giles: Nei-hu
• Pinyin: Nèihú
• Romaji: Naiko
• Map: My map of Neihu

Neihu 內湖區 is one of Taipei's newer eastern districts. It's famous for the technology park and high real-estate prices. A lot of Neihu is new and just like Xinyi, it's considered one of the most upscale districts of the city. The most beautiful part of Neihu are its surrounding mountains and large parks with lakes. Here are the must see buildings and parts of Neihu (my personal recommendations): Neihu Red House, Dahu Park, Bihu Park and Bishan Temple.
