Yonghe 永和區, Taipei

1/17/2012 Taiwan Explorer
1. Introduction

• Known for: soy milk
• Population: 231,000 (2012, source)
• Wade-Giles: Yung-Ho
• Pinyin: Yǒnghé
• Romaji: Youka
• Map: My map of Yonghe

Yonghe 永和區 is one of Taipei's southern suburban districts and probably the most densely populated district in Taiwan and among top five in the world. The area is fairly small, to there are not so many interesting things to see. The most famous might be the Lehua Night Market and the World Soybean Milk Magnate breakfast shop. If you decide to visit this part of Taipei, here are my must see places: Baofu Temple, Lehua Night Market and the World Soybean Milk Magnate.

2. Points of interest
